The WI website (http://www.thewi.org.uk/) is powered by a CMS called Matrix, developed by a company called Squiz.
A CMS (Content Management System) is a piece of computer software that allows collaborative publishing and editing of content online, often without the need for any pre-existing technical knowledge.
You will be using the Squiz Matrix to create, edit and delete assets. Federation web editors will also use Squiz Matrix to control workflow when approving or rejecting changes made to assets by WIs.
Squiz have produced their own training material for Matrix (also referred to as Content Management) which can be found at docs.squiz.net/matrix/version/latest/getting-started/index.html
